Sugar - Too much of it will kill you

Hello, today I will try to elaborate some bad characteristics of sugar out of human body aspects, to give us wider and deeper perspective about it.  For a typical amount, sugar obviously has its benefit as an energy source to human body.  But in real daily life, it is not easy to calculate the adequate sugar consumption to the body, since the other type and structure of sugar also exist in other kind of meal.  You need a precise calculation from nutrition expert anyway.

The most simple molecular structure of Sugar is called Glucose or monosaccharides (C6H12O6).  Some others are: disaccharides and oligosaccharides.  Mostly all kind of sugars are easily crystallized in room temperature.  Literally, "crystallized" means being as hard as crystal or rock.  So hard that it can scratch iron or steel.  Please remember, under my circumstances as a diabetic type 2 patient, i means a lot to my internal organ, blood vessels, and cardiovascular system as well. Because my insulin fails to change the glucose into energy or fat.

Taurine - Not from bulls but really no bulls

Make your heart stronger like bulls but not with caffeine

Just like aspartame and sucralose, I recognized taurine from the ingredient list of energy drink. Taurine or 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid is a conditional amino acid, and not an essential one.  It means that taurine is produced by human or animal body and mostly found in heart and brain.  It has a very important roles to cardiovascular system, retina and central nerve system function, and skeletal muscle development.

Unlike the origin of the name, taurine is not made from bulls testicles.  However, it can be found in bulls and female cows's bile, and also in fishes.  Meanwhile, taurine that we find in supplement and energy drink is a synthetic product. Some health conditions that might need taurine as a medication:

Sucralose - My Second Artificial Sweetener. Expecting the best

File:Sucralose2.svg
Sucralose Structure (by wikipedia.en)

It has been a complication for elaborating about artificial sweetener like aspartame and sucralose, since a lot of rejection and deviation in further experiment and study against this two substances by newly emerging expertise.  So that, i decide to hang on to a legitimate study or journal released by neutral and non-profit body.

Tate and Lyle registered their patent of sucralose in 1976 and followed by its approval in Canada (1991), Australia (1993), New Zealand (1996), USA (1998), and Europe (2004).  After that, 80 countries have been followed to approve sucralose until 2008. Jurong - Singapore and McIntosh - Alabama are where Tate & Lyle produce sucralose nowadays.

Aspartame - My First Artificial Sweetener

Why somebody have ever dislike Aspartame ?

J. M. Schlatter, a chemist who discovered Aspartame in 1965 was never expect that he was about to faced one of the most complicated controversy in world history about setting aspartame as a safe sweetener replacement.  FDA first approval in 1974 has experience so many resistance even hoax conspiracy.
There are so many journal and research regarding the side effects of Aspartame which has been cancelled due the lack of methodology and evidence of its carcinogenicity. Therefore,  we are not circling around that debate anymore.

Coconut Water - How is the potassium doing there ?

I want it that way.......

Introducing magic water, I am about to reveal the greater effects of coconut water rather than only just a thirst reliever. It becomes a famous tropical drink along the equator and some sub tropical countries such as Indonesia, Brazil, India, Hawaii (USA), Thailand, and Caribbean.   Due to its sterility, coconut water can be used as an infusion liquid for human intravenous in emergency situation.  What really interest me from the beginning are actually these following things: high potassium and antioxidants contents in coconut water.  Cytokinin, L-Arginine, Magnesium, and Ascorbic Acid also become compliments of valuable substances in coconut water.
