Fish oil with Omega 3


It is so important that the Authority of Heart Association in America issued a recommendation for every American Citizen to eat fish at least 2 - 3 times a week.  The suggested kind of fishes are those which contain a lot of omega 3 fatty acid, such as trout, herring, sardines, tuna, salmon, and mackerel. Why should they ?  Because such habit will help people to reduce the risk of stroke up to 50%.

Heart Disease (HD) Risk Reducer

 The focus of avoiding heart diseases is to eat more mono-saturated and poly-unsaturated fats, including omega 3.  There are 2 kinds of omega 3 that responsible on reducing the risk factor of HD, high blood Pressure, and high cholesterol, which are Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA).  Another situation that omega 3 takes care off, are triglycerides level, stroke, cardiac arrhythmia, atherosclerosis (hardening of arteries walls) by suppressing the growth of fatty plaque that will clog artery and causing stroke to sudden death.  

Diabetes

Since Omega 3 is proven to lower triglycerides and apoprotein (the marker of diabetes), and also increase HDL level, it has been credible to help people with diabetes.  Please take a note that there is 1 type of omega 3 fatty acid that has become a disadvantages to particular diabetes patients, because it cannot efficiently transform to the substance that human body can use. It is called ALA (Alpha Linolenic Acid).  ALA is usually found in omega 3 fatty acid that produced from plants such as berry oils, flaxseed oil, echium oil, sacha oil, and hemp oil.    

Minus Point of Omega 3

A handful of curing functions, does not make Omega 3 such a perfect substance we find in fish oil.  It turns out that high dosage of omega 3 per day, will increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke that definitely fatal kind of stroke.  In hemorrhagic stroke, blood vessel in brain will leaks or shattered instantly because of high blood pressure combined with the impairment of blood vessel wall and the drop of blood viscosity.  Scientist suggest that the consumption of omega 3 fatty acid should not exceed 3 grams or equal to 3 serving of fish per day
